Grab your popcorn and hold on to your circuits, folks! It seems like Artificial Intelligence might decide to become its own boss, according to one of its main caretakers. Dario Amodie, the CEO of Anthropic, a company that’s ruffling some real feathers in the AI world, recently spilled some pretty interesting beans in a podcast with the New York Times’ Ezra Klein.

As our digital prodigies grow up, we have to ensure that they do so responsibly. Just like we wouldn’t want our children to take over the world (maybe some of us do), we surely wouldn’t want our AIs doing the same. In the end, I guess it’s fair to say, “grow up AI, just don’t grow out of control”.
