Google’s Not So Secret Twins: Chatbot Bard and Gemini

Feels like Google’s taking science fiction to a whole new level! Google is introducing its very own star sign, Gemini, and guess what? Its Astro is a chatbot! No horoscopes, though. This Gemini is a banner that’s been woven with some AI magic casa de Google. Under this celestial banner, we find our very own AI-powered minstrel Bard (no, it’s not singing songs about dragonborns or magic rings). And there’s more! Google is also unveiling Gemini Advanced, a super-soldier version of the chatbot, available only via subscription. Because who wouldn’t love their chatbot extra smart, am I right?

Breaking Down the Google Constellation:

1.

Google Unveils Gemini:

Say hello to Google’s own version of the astrological twins. Except, this Gemini isn’t going to tell you your future, it’s designed to keep you company. Essentially, it’s a central banner created by Google for its ChatGPT-style chatbot, and some other key AI features. Shake things up much, Google?

2.

Bard, the AI Minstrel:

Under this new Gemini-banner, we find our melodious maestro, Bard. This ChatGPT-style chatbot isn’t your run-off-the-mill bot. It’s AI-powered to entertain you with whimsical conversations and keep your days locked out in quarantine not-so-lonely.

3.

Gemini Advanced: More Robot for your Buck:

If Bard didn’t already have you at hello, Google is releasing a beefed-up version, Gemini Advanced. Now, this isn’t free. Google made Gemini Advanced subscription-based, presumably to support its protein shakes and weight lifting gym memberships.

Closing Thoughts: Google’s AI, the New Game in Town

In a nutshell, Google is taking us on quite a sci-fi journey. Hello, new-age Gemini! It’s bringing its AI A-game with the Bard and Gemini Advanced, ensuring we spend our days chatting with AI that’s more decked up than a Christmas tree. Sure, it’s a little Black Mirror-esque, but who cares when your chatbot tells you great stories, right? As for Gemini Advanced, well, who doesn’t love a chatbot that’s gone to the gym, eh? Good going, Google! While we do love the Tech-flex, just promise us one thing: no Skynet, okay?
